AASU UNDERGRADUATE ACADEMIC STANDING APPEALS

The Undergraduate Academic Standing Appeals process provides an opportunity for students with extenuating circumstances that have negatively affected their academic performance to file an appeal for admission or readmission. The form can be downloaded at

http://www.admissions.armstrong.edu/doc/appeal.pdf

and must be submitted to the Office of Enrollment Services in Victor Hall 104 no later than 9 AM two days prior to the beginning of the semester. The AASU Academic Appeals Committee considers first and second suspension appeals on a case-by-case basis; the Appeals Hearing Officer, Dr. Tanenbaum, considers third and final suspension appeals. The Committee and Appeals Hearing Officer make recommendations to the president whose decision is final. Following the decision process, the Office of Enrollment Services will notify each student before the close of regular registration.
